2019 has been an eventful year for cannabis. Just a few months ago, Michigan became the 10th state to legalize cannabis. There is a huge change in the way the public views cannabis and we expect more states to pass similar legislation.

The voters of Michigan have spoken. With 100% of precincts reporting, Proposal 1 has prevailed with 55.9% of the vote

Following their neighbor’s lead, Illinois has become the 11th state to have legal recreational cannabis.

THE ILLINOIS HOUSE AND SENATE HAD APPROVED THE CRTA IN LATE MAY. ADULTS 21 AND OLDER WILL BE ALLOWED TO POSSESS AND PURCHASE CANNABIS STARTING ON JANUARY 1, 2020.
