Overview of Position
The Dispensary Concierge is the welcoming face of Wellness Connection of Maine to our members. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, constant desire for self-improvement, and attention to details. This key full-time position is responsible for providing top level professional customer service by understanding the member needs and providing personalized solutions. As the first point of reference, the candidate must truly enjoy working with the public. Having extensive knowledge of products and promotions are critical to the overall member experience and the reputation of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Dispensary Concierge welcomes members to the dispensary, efficiently assesses their interests, guides them to relevant products and/or resources; provides in-depth knowledge of product, law, and company; and helps to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility inside and out.
May be posted at the reception desk or on dispensary floor. Should be ready to rotate as needed between these positions.
At reception desk primary duties are:Greet members and quickly qualify their interests and needs.
Respond to complaints and find appropriate solutions.
Review required documents
Guide members to the appropriate experience based on their needs:Full Concierge Assisted Shopping
Pre-order line or Standard line
Self-guided discovery (with option to follow up for full concierge experience)
CBD Only Shopping
On dispensary floor primary duties are:Assist members handed off by reception concierge.
Provide in-depth product knowledge and advice.
Check on and be available for self-guided members.
Assist members with in-store certification process.
Assist at the reception desk as needed.
Answers questions about the law and the Company from members and others
Maintains a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
Other duties may be assigned by the Dispensary Manager according to Company needs
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years post-secondary education in a related field preferred
Work Experience Required
2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred
Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept, lead, and complete additional projects or challenges
Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office (Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
Thorough understanding of Maine state law governing medical marijuana
Arithmetic necessary for basic inventory and cash management
Familiarity with history and varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required
