We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our energetic and growing organization.
This role will be responsible for managing the recruiting function to ensure a positive applicant experience while executing prompt placement of top talent at Vireo. Our successful candidate will create and execute cost-efficient and effective recruiting strategies that manage recruiting sources to maximize effectiveness and minimize expense. Additionally, this role will support the HR team in the administration of a variety of general HR duties. This position reports to the HR Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
Assess and manage external recruiting sources, job posting sites, and applicable third-parties to ensure cost-efficient, creative, and effective recruiting strategy
Create and manage job postings for all vacant positions
Oversee headcount approvals process to ensure all postings are approved by Vireo leadership and within budget
Determine job duties and critical skills required for vacant positions in conjunction with hiring managers, reviewing and revising job descriptions as required
Screen applicants and conduct initial phone screens to determine skillset and organizational fit
Manage interview process and scheduling with hiring managers
Develop templates and tools to implement best practices in interviewing for manager use
Complete applicant references to gain meaningful and useful data to assist in decision-making
Prepare and present job offers; revise and manage negotiations as necessary
Foster a positive candidate experience by managing communication with candidates to ensure every application receives a timely response and appropriate ongoing communication
Create exit interview program/process; analyze data to create action items which instill continuous improvement at Vireo
Assist with onboarding administration, including but not limited to site-, state-, and job-specific regulatory requirements
Manage other HR projects and functions such as safety/OSHA/WC reporting, leave management, etc.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience, is required
2-4 years’ proven experience recruiting/placement experience at all levels of an organization is required
2 years general HR experience preferred
Experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred
Multi-state experience is required
Proficiency with MS Office required
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, are required
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently. Must have proven experience building relationships remotely
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Professional certification (SHRM, HRCI, ASA, AIRS, etc.) preferred
