Native Roots is a rapidly-growing upscale marijuana company. We are looking for a qualified Assistant Store Manager to join our Vail team.
Qualified applicants posses ownership and drive the overall customer and sales service culture of the store. Including accountability for managing sales performance and identifying sales opportunities. Helps develop overall store strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational performance goals. Ensures maximum sales and profitability by focusing on key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in a retail environment.
Applicants will be interested in forming a long-term relationship with our company. Qualified candidates will be dependable, organized, motivated and passionate about their work. A caring, considerate and enthusiastic attitude for the industry is a must. Working knowledge of marijuana products as well as all current rules regulating retail and medical marijuana are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a State Issued Support or Key Badge. Successful candidates will be able to assert themselves with varied clientele in a high traffic environment. Upholding Colorado marijuana laws with clients and fellow employees is an essential part of the job and mandatory at Native Roots.
Responsible for all store opening and closing procedures
Responsible for all cash handling procedures
Employee training, the development of sales staff, and provide positive and constructive feedback to help employees meet expectations and goals
Lead, motivate, inspire, and coach employees to create a customer-centric environment resulting in a memorable and positive customer experience; building customer retention, strong relationships, brand awareness and loyalty
Deliver exceptional customer service by observing, listening, interacting and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution
Ensures the implementation and effective application of information, tools and systems required to meet customer needs
Management of both METRC and our POS system
Assists with recruiting, hiring and training store employees in compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures
Merchandising, operations, marketing, and execution of store and company standards
Responsible for performance management of all employees in partnership with Human Resources
Participates in networking and creating positive relationships within the community
Act as a Change Champion, initiating and supporting change
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Compliance management in accordance with MED Rules and Regulations
Maintains a clean and safe environment for all employees and customers to include sales floor, back room, manager offices and restrooms
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Good planning, organizational and time management skills
Ability to lead, delegate, and motivate staff
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
High School Graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of exceptional leadership, management, communication and training skills in a customer-centric sales environment
