We are currently looking for a Real Estate Manager (Transactions, Project Financing and Development) based in Los Angeles, CA to join our team.
What you’ll be doing:
This person will be responsible for working closely with the VP of Real Estate in managing all areas of real estate transactions (acquisitions and leasing), project financing/ fundraising, development, and corporate M&A.
As the Real Estate Manager, you will:
Support the implementation of all company real estate initiatives including negotiating and closing of leases, purchase, project financing/ fundraising & construction documents, creating project budgets and financing plans, securing all necessary local approvals, etc.
Assist in negotiation contracts of sale, leases, and funding agreements
Build and maintain detailed financial models
Draft Letters of Intent
Manage the acquisition/ transaction/ and due diligence process
Develop feasibility analyses for new development opportunities
Conduct and review preliminary site due diligence
Source new lease and acquisition opportunities
Manage multiple real estate transactions from beginning to completion
Ensure that corporate real estate guideline, policies and procedures are followed
Prepare market analysis and presentations for properties under consideration for purchase/lease
Your experience and skills include:
5-7+ years experience in highly-analytical and strategic roles, RE experience preferred but not necessary
Strong Excel skills and financial modeling experience
Strong Word and PowerPoint skills
Comfort and experience working with legal documents
Business aptitude, effective and influential communication skills, and strong relationship management
Managing projects with multiple stakeholders and aggressive timelines
Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and ideally has experience in a high-growth startup
Prior experience at a commercial brokerage firm, lender, investment banking/ real estate portfolios, graduate education with RE focus, preferred.
